Services & Pricing
Every mount is quoted to your trophy and the options you choose. Call or text (763) 354-4538 for a price.
Base Series or Pro Series
Most mounts come in two series. Base Series is a quality, lifelike mount at the lower price. Pro Series adds more options, more detail and more time: finer painting, more anatomically correct positions and extra finishing work. Every client chooses what they want.
I encourage all my clients to call with any questions regarding their trophies. Every taxidermy shop does things differently. I want everyone to understand they have options; the art of taxidermy is evolving every year with new products and styles. I want to educate clients so they can be happy for a lifetime with their mount!

Big Game
Shoulder mounts, wall pedestals, 360° pedestal mounts, full body mounts, European mounts, antler mounts, bear rugs and tanning.
One important aspect to understand in Jason’s taxidermy pricing is choosing between “Base Series” and “Pro Series”. In general, the difference is “Pro Series” mounts offer more options, more detail, and more time. This provides clients more artistry and a better product! This will be noticed across the entire mount: ear position, eye details, symmetry, and muscle tone, will be at another level.

Waterfowl
Standing, flying and deadhang mounts, plus swan neck mounts.
Waterfowl is what I specialize in. It’s hard for a non-taxidermist to understand the extra hours that go into the small perfections of a mount, but I can spend hours aligning feathers and blending paint. The “Pro Series” offers more detailed painting on the bill, legs, and feet, and extra time is spent aligning feathers and providing more symmetry. Many people send pictures to my business cell from the field asking what I think of a certain bird. This is a great way to start the process of mounting any species of waterfowl!

Fish
Wall mounts on driftwood or panels, and 360° pedestal mounts.
Jason’s Taxidermy offers two series of fish mounts. The “Base Series” and the “Pro Series.” The difference between the two options is the “Pro Series” offers an open mouth, epoxied (finished) back, and more detailed painting. “Pro Series” mounts also come with hand carved bodies, this creates a better fit, as well as more customization in body positioning. The price difference between the “Base Series” and the “Pro Series” comes from a $1.00/inch addition for each of the three options. Every client will choose what they want!

Upland Game Birds
Flushing, flying and standing mounts.
Jason’s Taxidermy offers two series of upland game bird mounts. The “Base Series” and the “Pro Series.” The difference between the two options is the “Pro Series” offers more detailed painting in the head and feet, more anatomically correct positions, and extra time is spent finishing the bird for realism (Aligning feathers, etc.).

Furbearers
Full body mounts and tanning.
Furbearer mounts are not as common as other types of taxidermy mounts, so manufacturers do not make as many styles and sizes on forms for them. After I understand what you want, I search different manufacturers and send pictures to your email or cell so we can pick a form together. If I cannot find a form you like, I can make anything you want through “form alterations.” Features such as open mouths, size of animal and habitat options all affect the price; after discussing the details of your mount, I will give an exact price.
Habitat & Furniture
Driftwood, oak and walnut panels, dioramas, habitat scenes, glass cases, and coffee and end tables, for any mount.
